When installing the tiles, you will need materials including hammers, sponges, tweezers tile, cement board support if applicable, eye protection, ceramic tiles, tubers float, tile saws or cutter, grout, bucket, square, notched trowel, and meter. 1. Measure the width and height of the area to be covered with tiles, then divide the area with the size of the tile. It is necessary to buy extra tiles because they can break during installation, and if you have to replace them in the future, you may find it difficult to find the right tiles that match the one you have.

2. Clean the surface where the tile will be installed and allow it to dry completely. If you are going to install the tiles around an electrical outlet, be sure to turn off the power and remove the outlet cover plate.

3. Layout the pattern of tiles and maximize the number of full tiles you will need so you will not spend a lot of time cutting half and partial tiles.
